COYOTE GULCH ART VILLAGE PRESENTS 11TH ANNUAL ART IN KAYENTA
Wednesday, 02.03.2010, 12:49pm (GMT-6)

Art in Kayenta returns to the Coyote Gulch Art Village for its eleventh incarnation. This year, it will be held on Presidents Day weekend, Feb 13–14, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  The Art Village is in the community of Kayenta, seven miles west of St. George, in the town of Ivins.

The best art festival in southern Utah, this two-day event features over 90 artists. Amazing national artists from all over the country will be offering a broad spectrum of art for every taste – watercolors, metal art, jewelry, pottery, photography and more. Enjoy a wide variety of foods, unique art and live music all day long while experiencing the beauty of this unique desert space under the towering red rock cliffs of Kayenta.

This family friendly event is free and open to everyone – kids included – with a rare opportunity to have famous artists offering hands-on teaching in the Children’s Corner.

This year’s festival poster was created by local artist Gina Jrel who will be painting onsite in front of Juniper Sky Fine Art gallery both days. Her newest work will be on display inside the gallery during the festival.

Come ready to buy because, with the selection of magic and creativity this festival has a reputation for, you are sure to find an artistic treasure you cannot live without.
