THE ELECTRIC THEATER OFFERS TWO NIGHTS OF MUSIC

The Electric Theater is serving up two big nights of music this month. On Saturday, Feb. 6, Dance Gavin Dance headlines, with Avery Merik and A World at End also playing. Then, Saturday, Feb. 20, Confide is the headliner, joined by Alive by Design, Augustine and Blessed with a Burden. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door for both shows.

Dance Gavin Dance is an American post-hardcore band from Sacramento, Calif., formed in 2005. The band released its first EP in 2006 and has since produced three full-length albums. The band’s self-titled album was Smartpunk.com’s “Smartpick of the Month” for August 2008. Dance Gavin Dance’s newest album is titled Happiness.

Confide is a Christian metalcore/post-hardcore band from Los Angeles, Calif., which was formed in 2004. The band has released one album, Shout the Truth, and is soon to record a follow-up. Confide is best known for its cover of The Postal Service’s “Such Great Heights.”
