THE ELECTRIC THEATER OFFERS TWO NIGHTS OF MUSIC Wednesday, 02.03.2010, 01:19pm (GMT-6)
The Electric Theater is serving up two big
nights of music this month. On Saturday, Feb. 6, Dance Gavin Dance headlines,
with Avery Merik and A World at End also playing. Then, Saturday, Feb. 20, Confide
is the headliner, joined by Alive by Design, Augustine and Blessed with a
Burden. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door
for both shows.
Dance Gavin Dance is an American post-hardcore
band from Sacramento, Calif., formed in 2005. The band released its first EP in
2006 and has since produced three full-length albums. The band’s self-titled
album was Smartpunk.com’s “Smartpick of the Month” for August 2008. Dance Gavin
Dance’s newest album is titled Happiness.
Confide is a Christian metalcore/post-hardcore
band from Los Angeles, Calif., which was formed in 2004. The band has released
one album, Shout the Truth, and is soon to record a follow-up. Confide is best
known for its cover of The Postal Service’s “Such Great Heights.”
