ST. GEORGE, Utah – March 26, 2009 – Original blues/rock band Crippled Stripper will perform consecutive nights in Cedar City and St. George on April 10thand 11th. Toadz will feature the band Friday, April 10, at 8:00 for its inaugural Cedar City performance. Jazzy Java in St. George hosts the group Saturday, April 11, at 7:30. Admission at the door is $5 and $10 respectively.
This hot, four-piece band is filled with familiar faces from the southern Utah music scene. Singer/songwriter Josh Warburton is featured on vocals, guitars, keys and harmonica. Brian Huntsman covers vocals and bass, Jerry Love is on guitar and vocals, and Davey Sopko is the drummer. Crippled Stripper is fresh off recording their debut EP, Change the World, generating a new sound from a classic mold. Focused on the essential elements of great music – including songwriting, arrangement, riffs, hooks and harmonies – Crippled Stripper offers an original sound in this modern age of processed, sound-alike bands.
