July Music in St. George
Friday, 06.05.2009, 08:11pm (GMT-6)

This July, St. George will be a hotspot for music with two nights of big names at the Dixie Sunbowl Arena. Grammy-nominated Lady Antebellum will perform July 22 at 7:00 p.m. with guest Due West. This up-and-coming country act is already receiving critical acclaim and national television attention. Gates open at 6:00 p.m., and those 10 and under get in free.

Then, on July 24 at 7:00 p.m., Secondhand Serenade will play with guests Parachute and Singlefile. Secondhand Serenade is familiar to kids from their appearances on before- and after-school programming. With this in mind, the concert is free for those five and under, and it is a fundraiser for The Foundation for Students of Washington County. Gates open at 5:00 p.m.

Tickets for both shows are $20 and can be purchased online at www.southernutahtickets.com or by phone at 435-669-6126. More information about the musicians can be found at www.ladyantebellum.com, www.duewest.com, www.myspace.com/secondhandserenade, and www.weareparachute.com.
