Off the Cuff Comedy Improv is Moving
Monday, 07.06.2009, 06:14am (GMT-6)

Off the Cuff, Cedar City’s beloved improv comedy troupe, is moving their Friday night shows to the Crystal Inn, located at 1575 West 200 North. Off the Cuff’s grand re‐opening will be July 10. The show starts at 10:00 p.m. in the main conference room of the Crystal Inn. Tickets will be $5 per person.

The Crystal Inn has also conveniently partnered with Bard’s restaurant which will offer an assortment of snacks and beverages throughout Off the Cuff’s shows.

Off the Cuff, which prides itself on being the most affordable and family-friendly entertainment in town, has been a part of the Cedar City community for the past five years. Composed of some of the best improvisers in the state of Utah, company members have been trained by comedic greats. The company has worked closely with Second City of Chicago and Charna Halpern, legendary comedic mentor to Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Chris Farley.

In response to the move, Artistic Director Wendy Penrod says, “This new partnership with the Crystal Inn will be a great fresh start for the improv comedy team, and we couldn’t be more excited about what the future holds for us.”

Off the Cuff is also available for improv workshops as well as booking opportunities for a variety of events, including corporate conferences, small parties and more. If you are interested in learning more about Off the Cuff, check them out at www.otccomedy.com, contact them via e‐mail at info@otccomedy.com, or call 435‐261‐4216.
