The Independent was started in 1996 to increase the communities

of the main goals is to help the citizens of the area stay in-tune with

Southern Utah Business Mailer
The Southern Utah Business Mailer was founded in 2001 by Josh Warburton to compliment the product line of The Independent & Color Country Clip-n-Save. S.U.B.M. was founded on the idea of a direct to business product that combined high-quality editorial with large, attractive, and affordable advertising. This simple yet appealing layout gives the advertisers high visibility in a appealing medium.
The Southern Utah Business Mailer is our "Professional Business" Direct Mailer. This publication is distributed to nearly every business in Washington and Iron Counties - over 5,500 businesses every other month. Additionally copies are available through local businesses like Zions Bank and St. George Area Chamber of Commerce.
